I have been documenting sweet S's first year of life and wow has she grown! She was all smiles for her daddy and showed me what a fan she is of her mommy's shoes already! A few favorites below from the family's home session.
Cambey & David - Chapel Hill, NC
We had the best time covering Cambey & David's wedding weekend in Chapel Hill! Finally...a Tarheel wedding! When I met with Cambey we immediately connected over two things: we both went to Chapel Hill and we both lived with the same family in a tiny town called Fiesole outside Florence, Italy! What are the chances?! From that moment on, I just loved getting to know Cambey and her mother and I soon found out that the whole Merritt/Mikush clan are THE most loving + adorable families! We could not have felt more accepted and appreciated the weekend of the wedding. Here are a few details I noticed that made Cambey & David's weekend so special: The Carolina Blue walls in the church, David's talented graphic design skills used throughout the wedding weekend, the welcome party at Top of the Hill- an old favorite, the fact that Cambey loves her sister in law so much that she had her as her maid of honor - truly a friend for life!, when David and the Clef Hangers sang “Crazy Love” to Cambey at the reception, the bride & groom photo-session on the quad, the band- Mr. Potato Head- we had never heard them and they were awesome, the exit car - a Carolina favorite! Congratulations Cambey & David!
