How to Choose

I have the daunting task this winter of choosing new images for my website. I will admit it, I really don't like updating my website because there never seems to be a good time to stop my work and look through old shoots for my favorite images. I keep telling myself that is what my blog is for, but I know, it's time.  I found myself procrastinating on editing a wedding (shhh don't tell Morgan, it's her wedding!) this morning, and I disappeared into folders and folders of previous portrait sessions just smiling at the screen as I looked at these adorable faces from years past. I wanted to share just a few with you that caught my eye. The last shot is my son, Cole, who is now 20 months. Kind of made me want to cry seeing him only a few days old  here. I hope you enjoy these happy faces...some of them may be your own. PS- if you have a favorite LNP shot, feel free to email me and we will consider it for our website!

Nancy & Bill - Atlanta, GA - Part II

Nancy & Bill's wedding continued with a beautiful sunset winter ceremony and a reception at a family member's home. I enjoyed photographing such a lovely evening. Congratulations Nancy & Bill!

Nancy & Bill - Atlanta, GA - Part I

It is truly a privilege to capture someone's wedding day. I think about that often, and although my job is fun, this privilege is why I take is so seriously. I am so honored when families call me to capture one of the most important days in their lives. I met Nancy a few years ago, when I photographed Pamela Elting's wedding and then her sister, Linsday Elting's wedding. Nancy's daughters were flower girls and junior bridesmaids in each of the weddings and just adorable to photograph. Nancy called me just a few weeks before Christmas and asked me to photograph her wedding December 23rd. She knew I had two small children and that the date was close to Christmas, but she was so sincere and thankful and kind that I could not resist and felt completely honored to be there to capture this special day for her and Bill. They had a sunset ceremony and intimate reception with family. It was just perfect. Nancy described her new family as "The Brady Bunch," and I can't help but smile every time I see their family photo with the three girls and three boys. Check back soon for ceremony and reception photos!
